Elisa is an Illinois-based Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over ten years of extensive clinical therapeutic experience.

Elisa earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and has worked as a Psychotherapist, Clinical Director, and Executive Director of mental health facilities since 2011. At Beautiful Minds Counseling, Elisa applies an integrative approach based on the client’s needs and presenting problems. She creates a supportive and warm environment to guide her clients on their journey to grow and live a healthy and meaningful life.

Elisa's therapeutic philosophy is to work collaboratively with clients, empathically confronting and reframing their issues and encouraging them to apply therapeutic processes to bring positive change. Through work with Elisa, clients explore their strengths and values and learn to identify the obstacles that prevent them from achieving their life goals.

I create a judgment-free zone using an array of modalities that focus on thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I am open to creative means of expression, music, art, writing, and other ways that speak to you. I’ve worked with those in recovery from substance abuse disorders and provided support to those in the helping fields; all are welcome!
